Working with the creator of mouchette.org to preserve and document the complex technical, social, cultural aspekts of the work. Recreating websites from traces, documenting instructions of use and documenting user participation.
Reconstruction and preservation of early web materials, including migration of obsolete formats, development of documentation guidelines, and reconstruction of historical website structures.
Our collaboration extends to projects such as I love mouchette and Visions of Mouchette which explore strategies for sustaining early web-based artworks within contemporary internet infrastructures.
